Simulation of Elliptical Reflector

Problem Description

The purpose of optical calculations is to obtain the illuminance distribution on the working plane from the elliptical reflector. The calculation is carried out for the rotational symmetry.

Specify luminous intensity distribution of the light source as a constant.

Define the reflector in the form of a polar curve presented as:

r(γ) = 9000 / (5 - 4cos(γ))

Height of the light center:

h = 20 m
